A commission by First Star Bank and the John H. Witte, Jr. Foundation to
commemorate John H. Witte, Jr. a businessman, pharmacist, intellectual,
investment banker, astronomer and philanthropist. The sculpture is located
in the First Star Bank Plaza in Burlington Iowa. The memorial stands 7 '
tall on a 2' pedestal. Installed June 7, 2001. |

"Stellare", Italian for starlight, is comprised of three dynamic
